Booking of travel offers and other information requests

Afripassion processes personal data only for the purpose of fulfilling enquiries and requests, providing the travel service, executing the contract, and (to enable you to exercise) your rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability under Articles 15 to 20 of the GDPR. A short notice to us is sufficient — the contact details can be found at the top of this page. Please also note your right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR).

General information on the collection, processing and use of your personal data / usage profiles

Whenever a user accesses websites and whenever a file is retrieved, certain data about that access — for example the time, the number and duration of visits to individual pages — is necessarily generated for technical reasons and stored on our server. This data is not personal. The IP address of your computer may, in certain circumstances, be personal data; we either do not use it, or we use it only in anonymised form and always within the legally permitted scope. Otherwise it is not necessary for the mere visit and research on our websites to provide personal data, and no such data is collected.

For any further use of our website, the only mandatory information is that which we strictly need, for example to process your enquiries. Beyond that, you are welcome to provide further information at your own discretion.

Secure transmission of your data

If you send us an email containing personal data, that information is always transmitted to us via an encrypted (SSL) connection. This procedure protects your data securely from access by third parties. No bank details are required from you for your bookings.
